Are you an intermediate or heritage/native speaker of Spanish AND studying or working in a health-related field? Enroll in SPAN 50C: Healthcare-themed Conversation Class! SPAN 50C will help Spanish speakers and intermediate students improve their professional skills and patient care, foster collaboration, and develop cultural competence in the diverse cultures of Spanish-speaking patients.    

By taking this course, Spanish speakers and intermediate students can enhance their language proficiency, have a deeper understanding of medical terminology, and feel more empowered to advocate for their Spanish-speaking patients.

Prerequisite: Course completion of SPAN 50B OR SPAN 2 OR complete a Prerequisite Challenge Form if you have acquired intermediate Spanish proficiency in a different way:
